MINERVE

A 12th century castle is contained within the city, together with the church of St. Nazaire, which has some of the loveliest, stained glass in the Languedoc.
LE SOMAIL
is the next village to St. Nazaire on the Canal du Midi. It is very picturesque with two restaurants situated next to the canal and boat hire is available for trips on the canal.
VENTENAC
is a wine-producing village on the Canal du Midi. The wine chateau shown has free tasting of local wines, together with a museum.
